Laurea in Fisica Teorica, U. Torino, 1991 (110/110 lode), MSc in Physics, UCLA, 1993, Perfezionamento in Fisica Teorica, Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, 1998 (70/70 lode). Felloships: INFN post-doc and CNR Matematica (Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and Berkley Department of Mathematics, 3 years), A.v.Humboldt and Marie Curie (Munich, Mathematical Physics, 3 years). Post-doc U. Piemonte Orientale, Alessandria and visiting fellow U. Munich (2 years). Post-doc U. Piemonte and holder of a Marie Curie research grant for reintegration in Italy (ERG). Presently Centro Fermi `New Talent' fellow. Teaching activities at UCLA, U. Piemonte Orientale, and at 2 summer schools (Corfu' 2005, Modave 2006). Referee for 9 international journals.
